As a person with lived experience of hepatitis C, Daryl has lived with effects of the virus for potentially 35 years. It is that experience that has driven him to both learn and share ways his peers can improve their quality-of-life and and long-term health outcomes through treatment that can cure hep C.

Knowledge and actions that improve understanding and ways that provide for a safe and stigma-free future for all those affected has been the driving force in his work.
